Rungry

I was reminded of a few things I forgot about marathon training today after my 12 mile run.
- The blisters.
- The chafing that you discover as soon as water from the shower hits it.  (THE WORST.) 
- The hunger that turns your stomach into a bottomless pit.


After my 12 miles I took a shower and discovered 3 places where my skin and clothes decided to argue.  Stung so badly in what was supposed to be a relaxing shower.


I then drank my weight in water/coffee and ate all the cashews.  2 pounds gone in 2 days. 


I also went to Trader Joe's today!  One just opened up about 20 minutes away from me so I was pretty pumped to stop by with my mom.  She got cookie butter, these really good orange glazed cookies, and some vegetarian sausage.  I wanted to buy 6 jars of nut butters, but I decided my wallet (and stomach) would thank me later.



After that I did some baking.  Ate a huge bag of peanut butter M&Ms.  Ate more cashews.

Watched some Lord of the Rings (nerd alert, I've accepted it).  I love all things LOTR.  I want this picture framed for my house:

Monday 11/10 - Rest day :)


Tuesday 11/11 - 6 miles 


Wednesday 11/12  - Rest day 


Thursday 11/13 - 5 miles


Friday 11/14 - 4 quick miles on the treadmilly (my only treadmill run this week :) 


Saturday 11/15 - 5 miles 


Sunday 11/16 - 12 miles.  My longest run since my marathon.  About a year ago I considered 12 miles to be a short run.  My brain has changed it's mind!




Total Mileage: 32 miles




What's your favorite thing to buy from Trader Joe's?


- There were so many things I wanted to try!  I need suggestions to narrow it down.
